With over 11 years of experience as a personal trainer in the Asheville area and former two-sport Division I Athlete (soccer and cross country), I take an individualized approach to fitness by implementing workout programs specific to each person’s goals and needs. Injury, limitation, or nagging pain? I want to help you make fitness improvements you didn’t know possible.
As an Exercise is Medicine® accredited personal trainer I have the knowledge and confidence to work with individuals with common chronic diseases or medical challenges.
I also work with competitive athletes of all ages to improve agility, speed, and sport-specific athletic conditioning. Throughout our time together, I will re-evaluate and adjust workouts to make sure you are constantly challenged and achieving results!

With a background in dance, my passion for health and wellness began in high school and college. The desire to inspire and encourage others led me to become a group fitness instructor. Once I saw the difference I could make in the lives of my participants, I was motivated to learn how to work with clients on a more personalized level. Every client is unique and every person’s body is different, so I approach fitness with strategy and individualized programming to help clients meet specific goals.

From a young age I was introduced to fitness through my dedication to sports. I had always loved the intensity and sense of accomplishment fitness gave me. My career as a personal trainer has included helping aging populations move better and increase their quality of life. Additionally coaching people in class settings through anaerobic, aerobic, strength, and endurance training using a variety of exercise equipment.
I take every client as they are and do my best to appropriately challenge them given their current injuries, exercise status, and goals.
As an olympic weightlifting athlete I am also passionate about helping people develop power and strength through weightlifting---whether this be for a specific sport, desiring to compete in olympic weightlifting, or just looking for something new to add to their exercise routine.

My health journey started in my early 20's when I wanted to get rid of the extra 25 pounds I had been carrying around since my young teen years. I found more benefit from being intentional with food and movement choices than I could have imagined and my passion to help others make intentional health & fitness choices grew from there!
By creating engaging but challenging workouts to help you meet your needs and goals, I incorporate a variety of methods such as; functional exercises to improve activities of daily living, circuits to utilize peak training to strengthen your heart, free weights, machines, body weight, and varying resistances to build strength and mobility.
