With over 9 years of experience as a personal trainer in the Asheville area, I take an individualized approach to fitness by implementing workout programs specific to each person’s goals and needs. Injury, limitation, or nagging pain? I want to help you make fitness improvements you didn’t know possible. As an Exercise is Medicine® accredited personal trainer I have the knowledge and confidence to work with individuals with common chronic diseases or medical challenges, including aging clients and those with prediabetes and osteoarthritis.
Throughout our time together, I will re-evaluate and adjust workouts to make sure you are constantly challenged and achieving results! No two workouts will ever be the same making training motivating and exciting!

With an emphasis on pain reduction, injury prevention, postural rehabilitation, and multi-planar athletic performance, I have worked with a diverse range of body types, ages, and goals. I have found that a holistic approach of improving postural strength, raising awareness of and reversing negative patterns, and restoring mobility and stability to the muscular systems of the body are key to reducing pain and improving physiological function.

With a background in dance, my passion for health and wellness began in high school and college. The desire to inspire and encourage others led me to become a group fitness instructor. Once I saw the difference I could make in the lives of my participants, I was motivated to learn how to work with clients on a more personalized level. Every client is unique and every person’s body is different, so I approach fitness with strategy and individualized programming to help clients meet specific goals.
I'll help you master functional movements that will improve your strength and fitness and build a foundation for further gains. We will work together to create healthy habits for you that will make a difference in and out of the gym!

I have always had a passion for fitness even as a young child, through sports. Throughout my athletic career I received multiple injuries. While healing from them I experienced the joys of the human body and its capabilities. I grew to love working out and the benefits that it can offer. I love being a trainer because I help people increase their confidence and improve their overall attitude towards their bodies. I enjoy helping people gain strength and knowledge, taking what they learn in the gym and applying it to their everyday life. I’m a true believer that physical training is a long-term lifestyle and not a short-term fix for an individual’s health. When working with me we will work together to design individualized programming to help you create a healthy lifestyle. I have a diverse background working with individuals who have struggled with osteoporosis, hypertension, arthritis, pregnancy, diabetes and geriatrics.

I have been a massage therapist for 8 years and love helping my clients achieve their health and wellness goals. I got into massage because I too suffered for years with chronic pain and was able to overcome these obstacles through massage, and alternative health and wellness. I wanted to be able to help my clients achieve the same results, and have dedicated myself to learning multiple modalities in order to support my clients in their journey towards healing. My favorite part about massage is it’s all encompassing effects on our over all wellness. Not only does it help to heal soft tissue injuries, but it also has positive effects on our nervous, limbic, and lymphatic systems leading to decreased levels of stress and disease.
